Episode 2: Baltan

Next up on the UltraBestiary chopping block is a member of the Baltan alien race.

Just like Bemular, a wayward Baltan space traveler finds himself crashed on Earth. His ship is in need of repair and heads to the nearest center of Scientific Research and Development to attain the necessary parts. Along the way, a number of pesky humans attempt to thwart his plans. Having no other options, he is forced to freeze them.

However, this freezing does not go unnoticed. The Science Patrol is called in to attempt some sort of peace talks with the alien monster. Predictably, these don't go over well. Upon taking mental control of a member of the Science Patrol, Hayata (the fellow who transforms into Ultraman) learns that the Baltans plan on taking over Earth because their home world was recently destroyed by nuclear weapons! Apparently their unplanned visit to Earth was enough to convince them that we have a pretty whiz-bang planet.

But no dice says Hayata, transforming into Ultraman. He kicks some Baltan butt and destroys the alien's invisible spaceship for good measure.
