Episode 3: Neronga

So, it has been a little while since I watched Episode 3, but I'll do my best to recount the momentous appearance of this new monster.

He goes by the name of Neronga, and as the legend goes: is some sort of monster that has been sleeping in the ground for years upon years, slowly growing to massive proportions thanks to the power plant that was built on the surface.

The monster is first awakened from his slumber after the Science Patrol's youngest member (Hoshino) climbs down a well for some unknown reason (the youth can be a testy bunch) and disturbs his resting place.

Irritable and hungry, Neronga starts consuming the electricity from local power plants. Having fed on electrical run-off for most of his life, Neronga is addicted to the stuff. The Science Patrol shoot some guns at him, but ultimately they need the help of Ultraman to stop the monster before he destroys the power station that supplies power to ~70% of Japan!

Powers:
- Invisibility (when properly fed)
- Absorb and discharge electricity via facial projections

UltraBestiary Cool Rating: 6/10

One of my favorites. Yor rendition makes him look appropriately brutish and stocky.

I love this art series, can't wait until you get to Red King!
